On the 22nd, Wonju Medical Device Techno Valley (WMIT), led by Director JongHyun Han, and JNPMEDI, headed by CEO KwunHo Jeong, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the 2024 JNPMEDI CONNECT event held at The Plaza Hotel in Seoul. The agreement aims to promote the development of the medical device industry in the Gangwon region.
This partnership was established to advance the medical device industry in Gangwon by creating a collaborative framework for support in areas such as clinical trials, regulatory approvals, and various network linkages.
The key area of cooperation includes, ▲Sharing information on the economy, policies, and market entry for the medical device industry ▲Supporting and collaborating on software development ▲Providing legal advice on healthcare data▲Offering medical device company information and consulting support. Through this partnership, the two organizations will jointly support the growth of the medical device industry in Gangwon.
Director JongHyun Han of WMIT stated, “JNPMEDI’s outstanding digital technologies and services will greatly help medical device companies in Gangwon maximize business efficiency through digital transformation.” He also added, “The foundation will spare no effort in providing various support to help Gangwon's medical device companies attract investments.”
CEO KwunHo Jeong of JNPMEDI commented, “In the diversified environment of the medical device industry, I believe that business strategies and research tailored to each product are the key to corporate growth,” and added, “Through this partnership, I hope to provide substantial support to the medical device companies in Gangwon.”
