JNPMEDI (CEO KwunHo Jeong), a clinical trial consulting and platform company successfully wrapped up the 2024 JNPMEDI CONNECT.
Held on November 22nd at The Plaza Hotel’s Grand Ballroom in Seoul, the event marked its third year as Korea’s largest digital clinical trial symposium. The gathering brought together industry experts from fields including clinical research and RDC (Research, Development, and Commercialization) to engage in in-depth discussions on practical strategies and the latest technologies driving innovation.
This year’s symposium went beyond simple information exchange, systematically addressing key challenges and solutions while fostering opportunities for collaboration. It served as a platform to explore pathways for industrial innovation and create meaningful connections.
The symposium, divided into 4 sessions, commenced with an opening speech by Ilseop Lee, Chair of the Academic Organizing Committee and Director of CHA Bundang Medical Center’s Institute for Future Medicine, followed by congratulatory remarks from JongHyun Han, CEO of Wonju Medical Device Techno Valley.
The first session, themed "Integrating R&D with Commercialization," began with a presentation by SiYeong Song, CEO of Cowell Biodigm, on "Key Conditions for Becoming a Biohealth Powerhouse." Closing the session, JNPMEDI Vice President, SooHyun Lew shared strategies on leveraging RDC business models, service areas, and digital solutions, emphasizing JNPMEDI’s role in leading innovation in the life sciences industry.
The second session focused on strategies for global regulatory compliance during the early research phase, drawing significant attention from domestic pharmaceutical and biotech professionals accelerating their global expansion. JNPMEDI Senior Executive SeungMi Lee introduced JNPMEDI’s end-to-end consulting services, highlighting its clinical regulatory approval strategies tailored to medical device development across the entire lifecycle.
The third session, led by JNPMEDI Senior Executive SeEun Kim, explored the excellence of clinical development through digital solutions. Kim shared innovative case studies on clinical trial advancements facilitated by JNPMEDI’s CRO services and digital solutions.
The final session, moderated by HyungJin Jeong, Senior Director at Janssen Korea, was themed "Maximizing Market Impact Through Strategic Commercialization and Licensing." It featured contributions from SangWon Lee, Professor at Sungkyunkwan University, DaeYoung Jung, Senior Manager at LigachemBio, and JaeHyun Lee, Director at JNPMEDI. JaeHyun Lee presented groundbreaking examples of commercial business transformation powered by JNPMEDI’s Maven VDR platform, underscoring the importance of adapting to evolving R&D trends and employing effective commercialization strategies.
