JNPMEDI Partners (CEO Kwon-ho Jung), a global accelerator in the pharmaceutical and bio sectors, announced on the 15th that it signed a strategic investment partnership with Yonsei University Bio-Health Technology Holdings on the 1st to accelerate the growth and global market entry of technology-based startups.

Through this agreement, the two organizations decided to significantly strengthen the cooperation foundation for early-stage companies by: △establishing a system for discovering promising technology companies and investment deals, △sharing technology and corporate information, and △creating a structured investment review process through joint technology reviews, corporate diagnostics, and valuation discussions.

In particular, they plan to push for the joint creation of a 'Bio-Health Technology Commercialization and Clinical-Specialized Fund.' By combining the extensive technology network of Yonsei University Technology Holdings with JNPMEDI Partners' clinical and regulatory-based professional investment expertise, they aim to build a support system for preemptively discovering and investing in companies at early and growth stages.

Furthermore, both parties will jointly operate accelerating and business development (BD) programs to provide practical growth strategies—including investment strategy, financing, global expansion, and business development—for the portfolio companies of the technology holdings. In this process, JNPMEDI Partners will directly support the scale-up of companies by taking charge of in-depth mentoring and linking follow-up investments.

In addition, they plan to strengthen their long-term cooperation system by operating regular exchange meetings to continuously share technology, market, and investment insights, and to discover joint projects and new investment opportunities.

Jae-hyun Lee, Vice President of JNPMEDI Partners, stated, "Through this agreement, we will actively support the early scale-up of technology-based startups and establish a foundation for the global expansion of innovative companies in the bio-health sector."
