JNPMEDI, (CEO Kwunho Jeong) a medical data platform company successfully wrapped up its launch event on the 26th, celebrating the release of the collaborative service with cancer drug development strategy consulting company, MediRama.
At the event, the two companies introduced their full-cycle service, designed to accelerate success throughout the entire cancer drug development process, and announced their joint entry into the Contract Research Organization (CRO) market. They also expressed their intention to listen to industry stakeholders and present solutions that foster collaboration within the domestic biotech industry.
Previously, JNPMEDI and MediRama signed an agreement of ‘Cancer Drug Development’ and the result of that collaboration was this newly launched service in August.
It is a collaborative one-stop service of JNPMEDI’s Clinical Data Platform, Maven Clinical Cloud and MediRama’s ABCD (Advanced Business model for Clinical Development) Platform, supporting all business needs, including optimized, global-level solution for the entire complex process of cancer drug development, from trial design to operations and data management.
The two companies expect that this service will not only improve clinical efficiency and optimize processes but also significantly reduce the time and costs associated with developing cancer drugs, where there is high unmet demand, while also increasing success rates. In addition, the service is expected to greatly benefit cancer drug development, which requires substantial investment, through expert consulting and efficient data management and analysis.
New drug development, which typically requires high costs and long timelines, involves large-scale clinical trials across multiple phases to prove drug efficacy and safety. The vast amounts of data generated in these processes are key to drug development, and the efficiency of managing, analyzing, and interpreting this data can determine not only the speed of development but also the likelihood of success.
Moving forward, JNPMEDI plans to leverage its Maven Clinical Cloud, which complies with global regulatory standards, to maximize operational efficiency across all stages of clinical trials in collaboration with MediRama. In addition to traditional clinical trials, they are planning to offer a one-stop service that integrates decentralized clinical trials, and to provide dedicated teams for each trial to tailor the design and post-trial management.
Furthermore, JNPMEDI intends to expand and diversify its business into various sectors based on this one-stop service, while also supporting domestic biotech companies in securing investments and entering global markets.
This collaboration between the two companies is expected to have a positive impact on the domestic pharmaceutical•biotech industries. By leveraging the expertise of both companies, they will help establish clinical evidence and significantly improve the success rates of new drug businesses.
Industry professionals who attended the launch event on the 26th agreed that JNPMEDI and MediRama's joint entry into the CRO market will contribute to improving the efficiency and quality of clinical trials. Attendees also highlighted that this collaboration would have positive effects on the domestic pharmaceutical and life sciences industry, strengthening global competitiveness. Furthermore, there was optimism that the partnership would offer researchers more specialized support, which could be a major advantage in innovative drug development and therapeutic research.
JNPMEDI CEO Kwunho Jeong stated, "With this newly introduced service and our future collaborations, we expect to present the most efficient pathway for domestic companies aiming to develop cancer drugs to succeed on the global stage. Going forward, JNPMEDI will continue to research and develop various services to significantly improve the success rates of new drug businesses, leveraging our high level of expertise."
MediRama CEO Hanlim Moon stated, "Our collaboration with JNPMEDI is significant as it combines our existing expertise in new drug development with JNPMEDI's strengths in clinical trial data management, enabling us to engage more proactively in the clinical development process and improve success rates. We will continue to explore innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency of clinical trials and work to apply these solutions in real-world settings."
