JNPMEDI (CEO Kwunho Jeong) announced the free distribution of the Korean version of FDA's final guidance, 'Conducting Clinical Trials With Decentralied Elements', on the 25th.
This guidance includes methods and recommendations for introducing decentralized elements designed to allow remote participation in clinical trials. It aims to enhance participants' convenience, improve accessibility for diverse patient populations, and increase research efficiency.
In particular, decentralized clinical trials are expected to be highly beneficial for patients with rare diseases or those with mobility restrictions, as they can participate remotely. This guideline contributes to the digitization and efficiency enhancement of clinical trials and plays a crucial role in creating an environment where diverse populations can more easily participate in clinical studies.
JNPMEDI plans to support the domestic clinical trial industry in swiftly adapting to global regulatory changes through the free distribution of translated guidance.
